However the growth in businesses is slower than the national average, which has seen the number grow by almost 18% over the same period.
The three year survival rate of businesses has stayed above 63% since 2011, consistently well above the UK average. This is the same for the five-year survival rate which for Devon is almost 47%, with the UK’s at 43%.
