Currently people are classified as part-time if they work 30 hours or fewer in a week and full-time if they work over 30 hours per week. Part-time or full-time employees do not include people that are self-employed. The hours worked by those employed varies across Devon. The proportion of people who work part-time across the county tends to be higher than the national average and the people that work full-time lower than than the national average.
